Quality

The best ingredients selected every day by expert hands, rigorous and certified processing methods, careful sanitation controls, and the most advanced production and packaging technologies: this is the recipe we have been following for 70 years to always guarantee the highest quality of all our products by the slice, in trays and ready to cook.

How do we handle it?

We have a dedicated Research and Development division that works daily to improve production processes to provide consumers with safe and innovative foods.

How do we guarantee it?

At every stage of processing for all our products, we pay the utmost attention and care to every detail: we have 7 slicing lines. Raspini’s quality system ensures total traceability of raw materials, ingredients and primary packaging at all stages of processing and packaging of individual products to the point of sale.

What are our standards for ensuring food safety?

We were among the first companies to introduce products in protective atmosphere in the 1990s, and today our processing lines are located inside clean rooms that we could compare to sterile rooms in which hygiene and sanitization are maintained at a level that guarantees the healthiness of the products and the unaltered preservation of the organoleptic properties over time. To access these production areas, personnel must follow strict dressing and sanitation procedures to ensure that the environment is not contaminated. In addition, in the slicing rooms, the temperature, pressure, and humidity of the filtered air are controlled by sophisticated treatment equipment that adjusts the parameters depending on whether cooked or raw products are being processed.

What checks do we perform?

The Quality Control and Management team carries out intensive work to safeguard the proper conduct of processing and constantly oversees the processing process both in terms of sanitation and quality control. In addition, we make use of advanced technology: for example, trays of sliced meats are subjected to numerous checks before they are boxed and sent for shipment: metal detectors, checks on weight, tightness and the quality of the atmosphere inside them.

Are these procedures certified?

Our working method has obtained various certifications that testify to our constant pursuit of production and quality excellence. As further confirmation of this ongoing commitment, Raspini has a company laboratory to conduct chemical and microbiological analyses. Here are some numbers:

– 2,000 analyses per year on incoming products and raw materials
– 1,000 microbiological checks per year on production environments
– 200 analyses per year on the water cycle
